Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, technically talented Production Supervisor who has a true desire to lead and coach in a dynamic operations environment to support our organization.
In this role, you will provide direction to skilled employees, leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts guided by our Roadmap and Control Tower objectives. Additionally, you will lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system’s various elements. In conjunction with daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication, and execution with support group members is critical to the business's success.
7th Shift hours are Monday-Thursday from 2 PM- 12 Midnight
Key Responsibilities:

Plans, designs, and executes activities directly related to the physical creation of RTX products and the functional operation of RTX facilities

Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling, and personnel

Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple manufacturing disciplines; includes activities that cannot be attributed to a defined operations discipline

Manages a team of entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders of production employees, with the flexibility to determine how assignments are completed (e.g., objectives and approaches to completing work)

Manages cell productivity and guides scheduling, sequencing of work, and production innovation to optimize production; ensures all quality-related items for multiple cells or complex cells are complete and documented to meet established quality standards

Guides cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure the efficiency of operations and cost-effectiveness; guides production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for multiple or complex cells to enhance production capabilities. Interfaces with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations or production environment or an Associate's Degree and 4 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations or production environment or in the absence of a degree, 6 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations or production environment

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in MS Office applications, specifically MS PowerPoint and Excel and SAP user experience

Leadership experience with specialized knowledge, or technical/operational practices, and/or shop environment experience
-
Continuous improvement certificates/training such as Six Sigma practitioner/professional certification
-
Experience with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) principles

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
