Responsibilities to Anticipate:

The selected individual will be assigned to a team of production workers, technicians, and engineers responsible for the assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, repair and/or inspection of various microelectronic packages. Our manufacturing processes utilize cutting edge devices and technology.  The team member will be required to perform a variety of manual assembly operations including but not limited to assembly, solder, wire bonding, SMT and rework of soldered or epoxied components. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically Requires High school, secondary school or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience

  • Ability to perform manual assembly operations while using a microscope for a period of 8-10 hours, ability to lift 15 lbs. bend, squat, stretch and reach as required in a factory environment

  • Bend, squat, stretch and reach as required in a factory environment

  • Ability to read, understand and follow assembly instructions (in English) including assembly drawings and process documents

  • Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) for 8+ hours is required (including safety glasses, face mask, heel straps and a smock)

  • Ability to work weekends and/or overtime as required

  • US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of clean room manufacturing practices

  • Certified to the J-STD standards/protocol pertaining to electronic assembly

  • Ability to work for long periods of sitting and/or standing

  • Ability to see detailed work under a microscope for 8 hours or more

  • Experience using computer shop floor management software

  • Experience working in a clean room environment with minimal supervision

  • Able to solder while utilizing a microscope as required

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, running multiple machines or equipment
