Job Summary:

​Advanced Technology Supply Planner plans and prepares engineering development schedules, assesses changes and improves processes as necessary. Tracks status of material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, and materials are available as needed. The candidate needs to be energetic, willing to learn, able to work independently and have the ability and desire to be a change agent. This individual will manage multiple parts and the associated tasks listed below are necessary in order to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact to the lab or factory and/or program’s cost and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Preparing work order releases based on a CN22 (schedule), shop load and inventory requirements.

Working with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build

Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements

Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed,

Working daily to confirm material supply and demands

Coordinating cross-functional interdepartmental activity as needed (i.e. with Quality Assurance, Factory Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, Logistics)

Taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary

This job requires clear and effective communication skills that will be utilized to provide daily briefings and reporting pertaining to operations. This position requires a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives in a demanding environment. The ability to interface with all levels of management in an IPT environment is essential to perform in this job. This individual will also be expected to promote Raytheon’s keys values, facilitate problem resolution and apply Raytheon CORE.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically Requires a bachelor's degree, Preferred degrees in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field. OR in absence of a degree 6 total years of related experience is required

Knowledge of Operations Production/Inventory Control/Supply Chain/Material management or similar field.

Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software

Experience working with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong SAP knowledge and experience

Ability to set and work towards goals at a “big picture” level, and influence change at a detailed operational level

Ability to understand complex systems and processes

Experienced and effective communicator (presentation skills, written and verbal communication)

The ability to interface with multiple levels of management in an IPT environment with effective communication skills.

Motivated and takes on challenges with minimal direction, with the ability to be proactive and drive action accordingly.

The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by

local laws/regulations.
