Training will be held during 1st shift for the first 3-6 months then the shift will move to AWW, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7:00 A.M.-7:00 P.M.
Summary:
We are looking for a Product/ Process Manufacturing Engineer, New Product Introduction - AWW to support our New Product Introduction organization. Key Responsibilities:

With specific parts ownership, this role will drive manufacturing process development and improvements within our Compressor Airfoil New Product Introduction team

Provide focused & effective leadership in the advancement of MRL elements to drive manufacturing risk identification and mitigation to achieve superior quality performance
-
Identify & implement process optimization & control methods to eliminate/prevent quality turn backs /escapes and reduce overall product costs
-
Use statistical analysis tools to perform root cause analysis and corrective actions on non-conforming product

Drive targeted manufacturing process optimization activities through MRL tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement Systems Analysis, Yield & Cost curves and Qualification Lead significant projects critical to improve manufacturing process capability & quality performance
Basic Qualifications:
-
A Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of experience in an aerospace, engineering, operations or manufacturing environment or an Associate's Degree and minimum 7 years experience an aerospace, engineering, operations or manufacturing environment

Project management experience
-
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, experience with Kaizen events or experience with a continuous improvement program (ACE, 6S, etc.)

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
