WHAT TO EXPECT

 

We are pursuing an accomplished Product Owner, poised to play a pivotal role in advancing our delivery against the Functional Safety goals for our Charging and Battery Management Systems.

 

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of functional safety in accordance with ISO26262 within our Battery Management and Charging Software, that enables JLR’s next generation of battery electric vehicles.

 

You will work alongside Group product owners, subject experts, programme delivery engineers, in-house software teams and external software and hardware suppliers to define and deliver the roadmaps to production-ready software that delivers value to the customer.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Set and drive delivery through prioritisation of work based on business and customer impact
  • Defining the product increments, stories, and vision and conveying this vision to the squad
  • Ensure the voice of the customer is heard at the squad level
  • Establish and participate in key Agile ceremonies including showcases across co-located & virtual teams
  • You’ll own and manage the product backlog for functional safety delivery

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Experience in delivery through technical delivery teams, including software development
  • Previous product owner and stakeholder management experience
  • A clear understanding of the Agile methodologies
  • Technical knowledge of Systems Engineering, V-Model, Systems Integration, Systems Architecture, and Requirements management
  • A motivated, self-starter, out-of-the-box thinker, analytical but pragmatic
