Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent (Associate, Mid-Level or Senior) (Level 2, 3 or 4) to join our 777 Supply Chain Interiors team in Everett, Washington!

The Procurement Agent will provide support to external companies and internal organizations through his/her supply chain knowledge. We are looking for qualified candidates with a supply chain background who are ready to manage suppliers throughout the world. As an Operations Procurement Agent, you will manage complex work packages in a fast paced and multifaceted environment. As part of this team you will have the opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver world class products in support of our airline customers and the flying public.

This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Act as the liaison and relationship owner between suppliers and Boeing

  • Communicate performance expectations and metrics to the supplier

  • Develop executive-level summaries and presentations and share input with executive leadership

  • Travel to suppliers and conduct assessments to ensure the supplier’s ongoing capability to support Boeing

  • Provide oversight and management of the supply and demand of parts, schedules, and supplier quality and delivery

  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal and external partners, and peers; including gaining rapport and engaging positively with internal and external collaborators, even in difficult circumstances

  • Analyze and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g. on-time delivery) and using those indicators to predict risks; assist suppliers to develop new predictive indicators as needed

  • Conduct risk, issue, and opportunity (RIO) management

  • Mitigate discovered risks and initiate and implement supplier recovery plans and improvement activities

  • Lead Root Cause/Corrective Action initiatives to improve systemic issues

  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions regarding technical approaches, the resolution of quality issues, and the improvement of products and processes

  • Perform some level of system transactions and data entry to maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) fidelity, support metric generation, and maintain stakeholder communication

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):   

  • 1+ years of experience in the deployment and administration of policies, procedures, and processes

  • 1+ years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external), at all levels, on a one-on-one basis and in group settings

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10-25% may be required)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):  

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • 3+ years managing supplier quality and delivery performance

  • 3+ years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent work or military experience

Typical Education/Experience:  

Associate (Level 2): Typically, 1 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Mid-Level (Level 3): Typically, 6 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior (Level 4): Typically, 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: Location: Everett, Washington: (Associate – Level 2) - $68,400 - $83,600

Summary pay range: Location: Everett, Washington: (Mid-Level – Level 3) - $84,600 - $103,400

Summary pay range: Location: Everett, Washington: (Senior – Level 4) - $108,000 - $132,000
