Job Summary:
This is a multi-faceted Sr. Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) position with possible supervisory/leadership responsibility, working in support of special access programs. Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) will require routine interface with all levels of management and government customers. The CPSO must understand and implement DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, NISPOM, ICD 705, and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Provide security guidance regarding program operations.
-
Ensure compliance with applicable government and company regulations.
-
Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and addendums, Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), etc.

Provide solutions to program security challenges.

Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies and procedures specific to the program.

Create, update and administer security education, training and awareness to include indoctrinations and debriefings.

Conduct self-inspections and recommend / implement corrective actions.

Program administrative work: personnel processing, visitor control, program related investigations, TS accountability, dispatching and receiving program documents/material and resolving other related program security issues.

Maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers, peers and senior management across multiple program sites and business units.

Assist in preparation for program status and reviews (internal and external)

Manage special access program facility administration in compliance with JAFAN 6/9 or ICD 705 related to the physical security and construction requirements for SAPFs; submitting pre-construction and accreditation packages to include Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) and Tempest assessments

Leadership responsibilities will include career development/goal setting for team members

Conducting Assessment of performance and development of written appraisals
Basic Qualifications:
-
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.

CPSO experience

Understanding of the NISPOM, 5205.07 DoD Manuals Volumes 1-4, ICD 705, and related references
-
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Location Information:
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 176,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
