Job Summary:

As a part of the Supplier Material Verification Team, this position is responsible for creating, analyzing, and reporting metrics for inspection escapes as well as for the Dock to Stock (DTS) and Designated Quality Representative (DQR) processes. Both DTS and DQR are data driven inspection strategies.

  • This position is a hybrid role based out of Andover, MA and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Maintain and implement (where not in use), dynamic quality logic to by-pass inspection through data analysis. 
  • Communicate quality notification (QN) data to cross functional teams. 
  • Analyze Receiving and Source Inspection escape data to drive root cause corrective action.
  • Present escape data to leadership team through leading a corrective action board.
  • Work with third party inspection agencies to drive root cause corrective action as well as maintain compliance to statement of work (SOW).

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Previous experience with coding languages.
  • Experience presenting data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience identifying root cause and initiate/implementing effective short-term and long-term corrective actions.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in the aerospace/defense industry
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • High computer literacy and with confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, VBS)
  • Metrics-driven
  • Familiarity with Alteryx, or similar
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems
  • Knowledge of Supplier Quality Engineering
  • Certification in Six Sigma, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ)
