Raytheon's Advanced Product Center (APC) has an exciting opening for a Program Controls Financial Analyst (Grade P3/Principal Specialist) to join our growing team. This position will be supported onsite at our McKinney, TX location. We are looking for someone who can be a success minded team member with ability to provide analytical support while under critical deadlines and be involved in process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
-
Daily business and financial activities of programs within the Advanced Programs portfolio in APC.

Cost/schedule control and analysis, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Forecasting, Estimate-at-Completion (EAC), Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), variance analysis, data reviewing & reporting, partnering with the Program Manager and CAMs/IPTLs

Providing financial leadership in the successful execution of various production contracts
-
Driving operations finance process
-
Monitoring program health and compliance
-
Partnering with other functional team members to improve program financial metrics
-
Actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the responsible programs

Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis as well as support of 5 Year and AOP forecasting
Basic Qualifications:
-
Typically candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or other related discipline and 5+ years of related experience, or an advanced degree and 3+ years of applicable experience.

Security Clearance - Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Professional experience developing program financials including development of time-phased integrated budgets and schedules, Earned Value (EV) data compliance and reporting, cost accounting and ongoing overseeing of cost and schedule integration.

Ability to develop financial artifacts such as EV reports, graphs, and analysis, as required.

Exceptional analytical ability necessary to ensure program performance to plan and to ensure that problem areas are immediately identified, and corrective action is taken.

Experience in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to internal customers, management, and peers.
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong customer focus and attention to detail and work quality.

Ability to develop effective and respectful partnerships across Program Office, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Quality and Supply Chain.

Ability to provide strategic financial leadership for the program including areas such as cost management and program growth.

Ability to quickly assimilate into the proprietary Advanced Program Family and become influential within the suite of programs and functional support.

Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and independently create and accurately analyze cost data.

Organizational skills in leading/coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines.

Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, etc.) in program development and execution.

Experience in using SAP Business Systems APEX & PRISM, experience in using PMX, experience in using ForProject.
