Job Responsibilities:

  • The QMS Engineer will help to achieve internal QMS goals and initiatives follow up.

  • Assure compliance for IMS and Technical Audits including the Internal compliance audit programs.

  • Feedback the organization in regards Quality System opportunities through the result of the Internal/External Audits.

  • Help QMS technician team (Doc Control, Tooling, Calibration, Metrology) to implement continuous improvement projects and assure compliance under his/her responsibilities.

  • Assure and develop the direct employees to acknowledge external customer requirements and get appropriate approvals from them.

  • Coordinate and monitor through all the business units the health of the IMS, also prepare, schedule, and execute the assigned projects.

  • Participate in RRCA Lean Events to improve processes.

  • Help coordinate all internal / external visits related to IMS evaluation for Mexicali.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace experience preferred)

  • +3 years’ experience as QMS or Quality Engineer

  • Strong interpretation of IMS requirements, specs and technical writing

  • Provide solutions to a variety of QMS problems of basic scope and complexity

  • Expresses problems, issues, and opportunities to peers and supervisor

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Candidates must have a current travel Visa for training and event attendance purposes

  • English (advanced)
