About the Job:

We're looking for a proficient individual to join our team in Southend. As a Vehicle Painter/Prepper, you'll play a pivotal role, ensuring vehicles receive flawless paintwork and meticulous preparation before the painting process begins. Your expertise will be instrumental in upholding our high standards and meeting BSI PAS 10125 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll lead the charge on several crucial fronts:

  • Mastering our cutting-edge spray booth and overseeing painting operations from inception to completion.
  • Ensuring vehicles are impeccably masked and prepped to the necessary standard prior to painting.
  • Precisely mixing and matching colours to achieve the desired end result.
  • Inspecting painted jobs to ensure they meet our rigorous quality benchmarks and are ready for refitting.

About You:

We're on the lookout for someone who embodies the following traits:

  • Extensive experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician, preferably within automotive repair.
  • A keen eye for detail and an unyielding dedication to delivering top-tier craftsmanship.
  • While ATA or NVQ qualifications are advantageous, they're not mandatory. We're open to supporting qualification renewals for the right candidate.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at managing multiple tasks with finesse.
  • Stellar communication skills and a collaborative spirit that thrives in a team setting.
