We are looking for a talented Quality Manager to lead the whole Quality team (Quality Management System, Customer Quality, Supply Chain Surveillance, Product Assurance for Manufacturing, Service Quality) based in Toulouse Blagnac (France).

Role Overview
This position is accountable for the Quality Management System of the legal entity and for the local certificates. The local quality Manager leads a team of Quality Assurance professionals. She/he will set local quality goals consistent with the Business Units expectations and the applicable Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Ensures compliance with the site Quality certificates (EN/AS9100D, ISO 9001-2016, EASA PART 21G, EASA PART 145). Drives Continuous improvement. Leverages CORE tools. Manages customer quality. Fosters a culture of inclusion,
development and a sense of urgency to address high priority topics. Reports to the OPS Quality Director in Europe (dotted line) and directly to the Avionics SBU quality director. Attends the RCF Senior Leadership Team.
Prepares the Management Review. Manages the cost center budget in accordance with the AOP.

Primary Responsibilities:
Update to analysis of quality information from multiple sources in support of development of long-term quality strategy and programs.
Drives elements of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
Recommends process and procedural changes to ensure that company objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.
Supervises execution of plans, guidelines, policies and processes, to ensure the
achievement of quality targets.
Reviews production processes and analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement.
Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures.
Leverages Quality tools and provides direction for employees on technical quality subjects.
Actively addresses employee performance and development.
Manages team workload
Ensures onboarding of new employees is efficiently performed
Promotes Quality values across Operations and internal customers

Personal skills and attributes
Team management (>10 persons) successful experience – MUST
Excellent written and oral communication (both in English and in French language) – MUST
Ability to handle French Ministry of Defense programs, French Defence Confidential clearance
may be required based on specific programs – DESIRED
Ability to understand and implement the CORE tool – DESIRED
Ability to deal with complex subjects, complex situations and apply critical thinking – MUST
Ability to develop and communicate a strategic vision – MUST
Ability to cultivate internal and external relationships – MUST

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a degree in Engineering or equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
A past experience in management is expected. A knowledge of the Quality Standards (EN/AS9100D,
Iso 9001, EASA Part 21G and EASA Part 145 ) will be appreciated.
