Porsche Iceland is looking for an ambitious car mechanic to work on repairs and service at Porsche's service workshop. We are looking for a person with a comfortable attitude, competitive spirit and the ability to work in a team. This is a 100% position. We are looking for someone willing to work in Iceland for a minimum of 1 year but hopefully longer.
This is a unique opportunity to work in Iceland, known throughout for its amazing nature, clean and healthy environment and great people.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair order.
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
- Inspect the vehicle to determine if additional work is required.
- Notify service advisor if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
- Document work performed.
- Road-test vehicles when required..
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
