The candidate will be a project management representative for physical and technical security during construction/revisions of classified spaces. Requires engaging with multiple project leads, understanding physical and technical requirements of the new/revised construction. Engage and manage vendors for accuracy of performance/compliance with applicable government standards. Requires subject matter expertise of all applicable government standards and enforcing compliance. Configure & test alarm systems for multiple facilities and classified program development. Overall knowledge of RTX physical facilities, programs, and systems is required to ensure proper support of the facility/programs; including configuring access control/intrusion detection systems across RTX. Accurately document and evaluate systems for security compliance. Candidate will be responsible for managing the UL certification program per UL 2050 standards. Provides physical and technical security guidance to internal and external customers.  Provides administrative support which includes: Managing all access control systems, supporting all government annual inspections for classified programs, proactively identifies and resolves ongoing issues in advance of inspections. Additionally, provides computer system/network support, purchase order management, service request administration, and generating team incident management reports.
Required Skills:

  • Existing Secret Clearance with the eligibility to obtain Top Secret & Special Access.
  • Able to perform after hours duties related to construction activities or emergency response situations.
  • Candidate must perform company travel as needed.
  • General knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office Programs, Adobe PDF, Filemaker, and related Company software.
  • Must have  knowledge in enterprise network, TCP/IP and RF communications
  • Must have  2+ years of relevant experience with strong project and task management skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills:

  • General Knowledge of Aerospace security functions.
  • Basic knowledge of access control and alarm system configuration
  • Basic knowledge of RF communications
  • Minimum 2 + years’ experience in Database administration and Security Alarm System testing
  • A+ Certification, knowledge of various O/S and software installation and configuration
  • 2+ years of database management experience is highly desired
  • Experience in Alarm System configuration and demonstrated knowledge in setting up and administering a network domain 

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma and 13 years of directly related
  • experience, or
  • Associates degree in a related field and 9 years of directly
  • related experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or
  • Master's degree and 3 years of related experience.
  • Or equivalent Military experience

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
