Job Summary:

The Patriot Missile and Telemetry Systems Maintenance Technician performs missile assembly and disassembly and testing operations at the Missile Assembly and Disassembly Facility (MADF) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia supporting the Royal Saudi Arabia Defense Forces (RSADF) within the HAWK and Patriot Logistics Sustainment Services (HPLSS) Program. This individual performs missile removal and canning from the canister. Responsibilities include installing firing control equipment, operates firing control vehicles, performs packaging operations, forms processing and electronic data entry and will follow-up on warehouse operations. The Patriot Missile and Telemetry Systems Maintenance Tech will also train military technicians on the latest updates of inspection and maintenance of missiles and inspection equipment, as well as participating in the annual firing range operations support. Will perform other tasks as required. Perform all levels of OJT to ensure cross training of local personnel. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. Must be able to obtain a Saudi Arabia work Visa.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of daily operations in a Patriot Missile Facility (PMF) or a Missile Assembly and Disassembly Facility (MADF)

Must possess the “hands on” ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and calibrate all PMF or MADF equipment

Knowledgeable of general manufacturing processes with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience interpreting engineering requirements from product data models, drawings, parts lists and specifications

Able to demonstrate a high level of mechanical hands-on abilities to perform or assist in missile assembly and test along with repairing non-operating tools and equipment

Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial and/or home equipment and products

Must possess the “hands on” ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all patriot missile malfunctions

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge / experience of manufacturing mechanical assembly processes, electronic testing methods, factory automation equipment, industrial safety processes, technical writing, and teaming

Ability to (1) read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications / schematics

Understand basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) references

Create and maintain Computer Aided Design (CAD) models and drawings.

Required Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field and minimum of five (5) years’ experience at a PMF or MADF, or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

Associates degree or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

Individual hired for this must be prepared to present documents that will be required for attestation and visa processing. Documents include relevant certifications.

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
