Let's introduce ourselves
As flexpool, you will be a part of Inbound Logistics Road &Rail Operations team. Together with the rest of the team you will ensure that all production material transported by road and rail will arrive on time and according to plan to our production sites within Europe. You will work both proactive and with problem solving when a deviation is a fact, all to secure the running of Volvo Cars production.
Your ideas are welcome to work on daily improvements and development of our processes and way of working.
What you'll do
You are studying Logistics and Supply Chain, and you have an interested in transportation.
We work in a high-paced environment, we believe its beneficial for you to have the ability and strength in prioritization and have the ability to work creatively and analytically with a problem-solving approach. We believe you have knowledge and experience in MS Excel and understand the basics of planning and resource allocation.
We also believe that you can think outside the box and are eager to see the broader picture in all you do.
What you'll bring
Strong networking and team collaboration skills, with the ability to share information effectively.
Advanced English communication skills.
Highly organized with a strong attention to details.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
You must be minimum 18 yrs old
Currently enrolled in full-time studies, with at least one year remaining before graduation
Able to work four days in a month
