What you'll do
At Volvo Research and Development, you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers around the world, you and the team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. As an analysis and verification engineer, you will work in agile cross-functional team. You use your test expertise to take an active role in doing and coaching your team members in all matters relating to quality from a test perspective. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring testability while designing an architecture or developing a function, writing and guiding the team to write test cases and automating tests for regression testing. As a team player in an agile cross-functional team, you do what is necessary to achieve the team goals. Therefore, you will also learn and gain insights from other disciplines in the team.
Develop test strategy and plan
Design, implement and run test methods
Design or guide team to design automation test cases
Analyze issue, support root cause locating
Facilitate bug solving via active and close communication with relevant persons during the product development process
Report test results and appropriate recommendations to project management
Coach your agile team in test related activities
What you'll bring
Minimum a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Former experience from working with quality assurance of complex embedded systems
Experience from automotive, like driver interaction and infotainment domain (instrument cluster, HMI, connectivity, telematics, audio, Bluetooth, navigation, speech, displays, …)
Experience of working with CANoe, Jenkins and the Robot Framework is a plus
Experience of test automation, programming or model-based development / testing is a plus
Experience with Android and / or Linux is a plus
Experience with CI/AT is a plus
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
3 years or above in relevant working area
Valid driver's license
