Responsibilities

  • Design and testing of electric motor (mainly PMSM, BLDC and induction motor)
  • Electrical engineering focus on the electromagnetic motor design aspect
  • Work with different domain such as mechanical engineer for motor packaging, motor drive team for motor control
  • Ownership of components from concept, design, testing, validation, qualification and production release and support.
  • Collaboration with supply chain, vendor, and manufacturing engineers.
  • Continuously evaluate new technologies and design improvements to develop the most power dense, efficient, low cost, and reliable electric motor.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated successful experience in electrical engineering within a product design and manufacturing environment for motor design
  • Experience in electric motor design and manufacturing
  • Strong in electrical motor design theory and practical aspect
  • Great team player and good analytical skill
  • Minimum of 7+ years motor design experience.
  • Good to have experience in SPEED, ANSYS or other motor design and thermal analysis such as Motor CAD tool
  • BTech/MTech/PHD in electrical engineering
