Responsibilities
- Design and testing of electric motor (mainly PMSM, BLDC and induction motor)
- Electrical engineering focus on the electromagnetic motor design aspect
- Work with different domain such as mechanical engineer for motor packaging, motor drive team for motor control
- Ownership of components from concept, design, testing, validation, qualification and production release and support.
- Collaboration with supply chain, vendor, and manufacturing engineers.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies and design improvements to develop the most power dense, efficient, low cost, and reliable electric motor.
Requirements
- Demonstrated successful experience in electrical engineering within a product design and manufacturing environment for motor design
- Experience in electric motor design and manufacturing
- Strong in electrical motor design theory and practical aspect
- Great team player and good analytical skill
- Minimum of 7+ years motor design experience.
- Good to have experience in SPEED, ANSYS or other motor design and thermal analysis such as Motor CAD tool
- BTech/MTech/PHD in electrical engineering
