The program management co-op will work with military value stream in the Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS) business unit. The EACS product line is extensive and includes environmental control systems and advanced electronics. Co-ops will have a project that will have a focus on finance, operations, business development, or supply chain depending on their area of interest. This position will work closely with the Military Value Stream Leader to clearly define the project and present status updates not only to the team but also to executives at Collins.
Previous co-ops have had a significant impact on the value stream by creating and implementing processes in their areas of interest. A few examples of previous projects:
This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June- December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2024.

Primary Responsibilities
- Defining and implementing the financial Latest Estimate process for the Value Stream
- Working directly with finance to ensure the value stream and operations were in line. Process improved Latest Estimate forecast accuracy by 25%
- Cost reduction of 20% for one product line
- Learning various tools and then slicing and dicing large amounts of data to know what to target and then working with multiple groups to achieve the targets
- Define process for Value Stream and burn down the supplier request queue
- Working with supply chain, engineering, etc. to get approvals so product could ship
Basic Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
