Position Responsibilities:

  • Commit to working part time 16-24 hours a week until completion of their Technical School degree
  • Repairs, tests, installs, configures, upgrades and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.
  • Conducts functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators.
  • Participates with external agencies in the conduct of simulator certification, Acceptance Test Procedures and Automated/Manual Test Guides.
  • Assists engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Enrolled at Miami Dade College or George T Baker in one of their Aviation Programs. (MDC: Engineering Technology Electrical, Computer Science & Related Technologies, Engineering Technology Electrical, or Aeronautical Science) (GTB: Avionics Program or Airframe Program)
  • Ability to work onsite in Miami on a part-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above)
  • Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations
  • Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research or engineering internships
  • Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to engineering, aerospace and a career with Boeing
