WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Do you have experience in the management of a global media agency, and are looking to take the next step in your career?

 

You’ll be working within the Communications and Insights Centre of Excellence; alongside the Global Head of media planning and operations.

 

You'll have the responsibility to manage the relationship with our global media agency partner, develop global media budgets and strategy for our Brands, deploy planning frameworks and monitor media campaign activation and performance across JLR markets. 

 

This is a great opportunity where you’ll work with a variety of stakeholders across the business, globally and regionally and play a vital and exciting role in the success of JLR marketing communications.

 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a strong partnership with our media agency partner, working to ensure smooth operation of the relationship and excellent service across areas including strategy, planning, reporting and investment management
  • Collaborating with internal teams: working closely with House of Brand, creative and communications teams to understand business and campaign objectives, translating them into actionable media strategies. Building strong relationships with these teams will be essential to align strategies, share insights, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns
  • Working with JLR Regions and the media agency to deploy the agreed media strategies and ensure that resultant media plans deliver against the planning framework and campaign KPIs  
  • Monitoring and optimising: plans will require ongoing monitoring through the year working with relevant stakeholders to ensure they remain appropriate and are delivered.  This will include broader overall campaign assessment as well as more frequent monitoring of live campaign performance, working with the Performance Marketing team, recommending campaign optimisation as necessary
  • Working closely with our Media Auditing Partner and JLR Purchasing to ensure that media investment is as efficient and as effective as possible, and that the agency are contractually financially compliant.  Lead bi-annual Service Assessment of the media agency 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Experienced in the management of Global media agencies
  • Luxury brand experience, understanding importance of Owned, Earned and Paid communications
  • Project Management skills with the ability to prioritise and progress tasks according to business needs
  • Communication skills, capable of developing strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Analytical skills able to use data to drive analysis and results, and budget management responsibility experience
