Project Manager is responsible for providing oversight and coordination of projects, performing research and analysis, developing detailed business requirements, project testing, training, document processes and set up tracking performance processes in collaboration with other functional systems and/or sites.

Materials System Project Manager will help to enable SAP capabilities in two Advance Materials Management projects: 1. Lead Time Scheduling/Takt Based Scheduling and 2. Lean Manufacturing Production Control (LMPC).

Advance Materials Management project’s objective is to optimize materials planning management using SAP capabilities, generating accurate component demand, and reducing inventory levels. All this by analyzing and enabling and the correct SAP parameters set up to match and simulate in the SAP System what the shop floor is executing operationally such as: planning to takt time; accurate Work Centers capacity, shifts & breaks; component assignment to improve material planning by bringing inventory at the operation level and time needed; planning to the second instead of the day; enable tactical planning by using Work Centers true capacity and creation of recovery plans within the system.

The Materials System Project Manager as well will be leading and/or support other Central Materials and Operations projects such as: Kinaxis, Warehouse management, SAP KANBAN, SAP 4HANA, Leadership weeks etc.

He/she will use Change Management tools and methodology to facilitate project implementations, impact analysis and drive the appropriate communication at applicable levels to ensure a successful execution.

He/she will also evaluate every aspect of the materials operations and identify key areas of improvement to increase our overall efficiency driving adherence and compliance to Central Materials policies and support continuous improvement processes.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or administration and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

5+years of related experience in Materials, SIOP, Production Controller, Master Scheduler, Project Manager

SAP knowledge and experience is a must

English 100%, Spanish 100%
