Job Summary:
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Materials Manager- Raw Material to work hybrid out of North Berwick, ME. This position is within the Raw Materials Value Stream and procures structural castings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a forward looking process to align risk to output plans using casting commits/ coverage
- Work with cross functional team (materials, operations, quality, engineering) to ensure all customer requirements are met.
- Lead a team to automate and enhance risk identification across the castings value stream as well as reduce the risk through project management
- Comply with the Pratt &Whitney Procurement Manual and Global Supply Chain Standard
- Champion daily use of the CORE operating system through CORE tool usage to improve EH&S, quality, delivery, financial, employee engagement, and customer happiness.
- Streamline customer outputs into a single platform to communicate and interact with external and internal customers
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelors' Degree in supply chain, business, or other related field and 10 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, project management, engineering, manufacturing; OR an advanced Degree with 7 years of experience; OR High School Diploma with 14 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
