This position manages a small group of associates within Materials Planning and SIOP. This leader will focus on optimizing material flow from receipt to production and manage escalations within that process. This role will also play a key part in generating the sales forecast for their respective cells and ensuring roadblocks are highlighted and necessary required actions are established.

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure overall material alignment to the production schedule, with the goal of supporting Customer deliverables.

  • Mitigates risks for short-term shortages with internal suppliers.

  • Provide awareness to critical part shortages from external sources and drive accountability to resolution of delivery gaps.

  • Provide input to material planning strategies for inventory optimization (Plan For Every Part – lot sizing, reorder point planning, period of supply, etc)

  • Oversee/Facilitate key planning processes for their respective production cell(s).

  • Manage materials escalations driven through the IPT structure.

  • Participate in Risk and Opportunity discussions to assist in resolution.

  • Provide leadership and guidance over your team and establish succession planning opportunities. 

Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems, specifically in relation to Material Requirements Planning

  • Previous work experience with SIOP.

  • Previous utilization of Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
