Job Summary:

Poland Patriot Program in Warsaw, Poland is conducting a search for a Material Program Manager to join the OCONUS Patriot Program MPM team in support of the Poland Program. The successful candidate will set material strategies; proposal and execution of contracts; coordinate Material Planning, Hardware Management Teams, Integrated Product Team Leads and Engineers. Applicants for this position must extensive knowledge in procurement, contracts, production control, logistics and program material strategy and financial execution of material requirements.

The selected candidate will be accountable for creating a vision around supply chain requirements and process initiatives, driving systemic improvements for material flow and accountability, and instilling a “can-do” sense of ownership and alignment between the Supply Chain Team and the Program and Functional Organizations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities with their Supply Chain experience and show an ability to grow our local workforce knowledge through mentoring and other local initiatives.

This role is an international assignment and will be located in Warsaw, Poland. It will be up to a 3 year long term and have additional compensation emoluments.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Instilling a culture within the program supply chain team towards strategic thinking, planning, procurement and material management excellence
  • Supporting Integrated Product Team (IPT) and working hand by hand with local suppliers to ensure timely execution of the projects
  • Accountable for creating a vision around supply chain requirements and process initiatives, driving improvements for material flow and accountability
  • RONA, MPR and monthly reporting requirements
  • Developing material strategies and overseeing the preparation and execution of Material Program Plans (MPPs)
  • Leading accountability for program and supply chain related Build Chain Metrics
  • Identifying and mitigating program risks as they pertain to material requirements through integrated root cause/corrective action
  • Drive AOP financial commitments and mitigate risks to sales, cash flow and EACs
  • Participate in projects (both Supply Chain and Program) to drive material efficiencies and increase material affordability
  • Comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities; ensure Integrated Product Development Process (IPDP) compliance for the program including tailoring when applicable
  • Mentoring and leading the MPM team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6+ years’ experience.
  • MPM Level 4 Certification
  • Experience creating and executing Material Program Plans/Material Strategies for major contracts or sub-contracts
  • Experience in solving material planning/procurement issues and driving successful outcomes
  • Experience in driving new business solutions
  • Experience with any of the following: Cost Accounting, material sales or EAC ownership experience
  • Experience in Export/Import Compliance requirements for international business partners and suppliers
  • Experience in international direct commercial and foreign military sales
  • Experiencew with government regulations and public laws as they pertain to procurements
  • Direct report experience with all applicable performance development responsibilities
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and/or additional professional certifications
  • Experience in working with foreign suppliers
  • MPM Certification level 3
  • Knowledge of international supply base
  • Patriot Program knowledge
  • Active Secret clearance
  • A working knowledge of ITAR rules and regulations and experience with ITAR Licenses and Agreements: (TAA’s, DSP-73’s, DPS-5’s, etc.)
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills; ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others
  • Extremely strong analytical skills; ability to plan, control and direct activities and resources
  • Proven leader in a matrix environment and ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships across the matrix
