Job Summary:
As a Master Technician you will be involved in planning, designing, and executing activities that are directly related to the manufacturing process of Raytheon Vision Systems products. You will be supporting and providing production expertise amongst multiple work cells, Leads, and technicians across many different processing gates in the B8 manufacturing facility. You will be expected to act as a point of contact for all technical expertise pertaining to the work cells overseen and report/maintain the facilities/equipment issues within assigned work cells. You will also be expected to act as a trainer for factory personnel in assigned work areas and will contribute to and oversee process improvement projects and advise management of assigned work cell functionality.
*1st shift – 5:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M – Goleta, CA. This position is an onsite role. *
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Run and attend Tier meetings to report current work cell status and management directives.
- Work with engineering departments to help resolve manufacturing or process related issues.
- Monitor and report work performance of technicians in assigned work cells to management.
- Monitor and provide training for new employees.
- Help to foster an environment of inclusiveness, belonging, and purpose.
- Partake in interviews.
- Maintain and advise on HAZMAT storage and handling procedures.
- Learn multiple processing gates as assigned by management.
- Partake in and advise on process improvement projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- At least 3 years working with and around hazardous chemicals.
- At least one year of leadership experience and/or 3 years customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Holds security clearance of Confidential or higher.
- Experience leading, training and assigning and checking the work of entry-level professional employees.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus.

· Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 63,000 USD - 131,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
