This position will be supporting the Master Scheduling for the Houston Plant, supporting the Space Systems value stream. Master Scheduling is responsible to investigate and interrogate the demand plan using the best information available to provide long-range visibility in alignment with customer requirements to support financial planning, internal and external capacity management and SI&OP. Its objective is to create balance between demand, capacity and accurate, stable and linear schedules. This role will specifically support several different analytical tasks required to develop and manage the production schedule.
This role will be performed Hybrid at our Collins Aerospace location in Houston, TX.
Primary Responsibilities:

Support Master Schedulers in development of detailed resource-loaded production schedules for all awarded contracts and customer commitments.

Develop process improvements & automation tools to production scheduling and standard application across all value streams

Execute monthly data extracts and reporting to support the SIOP cycle.

Requires strong planning, organizational, and communication skills; the ability to take the initiative and work both independently as well as cooperatively within a team environment.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
