Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise manufacturing technicians in cell to meet product quality and customers’ delivery expectation
  • Determine overdue and current load position including looking 3 to 6 months ahead of demand trend to establish daily part scheduling and material release strategy
  • Ensure operator TPM compliance for optimum machine uptime
  • Responsible for managing cell’s daily output targets, operational efficiency and productivity
  • Provide leadership and facilitation within the assigned area including planning, developing, implementing and evaluating ongoing operational issues
  • Coach and develop manufacturing technicians’ skills, establish job expectations and manage work performance
  • Responsible for manufacturing technicians’’ discipline, attendance, safety and quality issues
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and evaluate workflow. Recognize and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiencies

EH&S:

  • Support and participate in EH&S programs and activities within the company
  • Report all incidents (injuries, illnesses, near misses, spills etc), hazardous conditions, and

      emergencies to his/her supervisor

  • Responsible for performing risk assessment of all work activities, taking corrective and preventive actions
  • Comply fully with all EH&S regulations/policies/programs/rules and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Participate in audits and inspections as and when required
  • Attend EH&S training programs and take personal responsibility for safety
  • Assume the role of Company Site Incident Controller
  • Assume the role of liaison officer with authorities, effectively assess the situation and ensure

      evacuation (where necessary) of staff during emergencies

  • Prepare and lead the Company’s Emergency Response Team to respond to emergency

      situations relevant to plant hazards and operations in an efficient and effective manner

  • Assume role of first aid personnel to provide first aid treatment for occupational injury

Ethics & Compliance:

  • Understand and carry out work performance in compliance with the UTC Code of Ethics, its Supplements and governing policies and the International Trade Policies and Procedures

ACE:

  • Support the Continuous Improvement programs and ACE activities within the company
  • Minimum ACE Associate certification under ACP

  • Provide a quality product/service that satisfies our customers’ needs and expectations the first time, every time
  • Emphasize a total quality management process which provides accuracy, and strict compliance with agency regulations and customer requirements, giving the highest degree of confidence; understanding that meeting the requirements of the next employee in the work flow process is just as important as meeting the needs of external customer
