We have an exciting hybrid work opportunity for a Manager, Subcontract Audit & Financial Analysis (SAFA)!

The SAFA (Subcontract Audit & Financial Analysis) analyst position is responsible for providing FAR 15 costs analyses of supplier quotes for both US Government proposals, and P&W Procurement activities. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing detailed on-site fact finds and analysis of supplier proposals, basis of estimates, and supporting financial data resulting in a detailed cost analysis report to support either negotiations between P&W and the supplier or ensure compliant cost proposals for the US Government.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of the supplier’s cost including, but not limited to:
  • Direct Materials.
  • Labor Hours.
  • Other Direct Costs.
  • Overhead Rates.
  • Cost Estimating Relationships (CER’s).
  • SG&A Expense.
  • Facilities Capital Cost of Money.
  • Assess supplier’s allocation of costs and reliability of its estimating system and techniques.
  • Work with engineers to assess the reasonableness of non-recurring cost.
  • Interact with Procurement for some supplier negotiations of price.
  • Work with Military Engines Pricing and various Program offices to execute proposals.
  • Liaise directly with the Government to ensure timely completion of DCMA Pricing Assist requests as needed.
  • This role will independently travel to supplier locations to perform analyses.   Domestic or international travel is possible.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 8+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance; OR an Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
  • Candidate must possess or have the ability/willingness to obtain a Government Issued Security Clearance (Secret).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The desired candidate will be a very detail-oriented person.
  • Prior experience with Government Contracting, FAR and DFARS, and ProPricer are strongly desired but not required. 
  • Experience with CIAM application attributes, role/attribute based access controls, access control matrix, or privileged access management is desired but not required.
  • Candidate must be an independent worker, energetic, self-starter and demonstrate ability to function at a high level in a dynamic and challenging environment. 
  • Strong analytical and auditing skills and the ability to think ahead are also required to manage work effectively. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
