Job Summary:

The Domestic TPY-2 finance team, in the Strategic Missile Defense Mission (SMD) area has an immediate opening for a Hybrid Business Manager role. The Domestic TPY-2 Production was awarded to build a AN/TPY-2 Radar in partnership with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The total contract value of the current contract is $300M.

The Domestic TPY-2 Business Manager will be an integral team member in the overarching TPY-2 Production Finance team, as the lead for the Domestic scope, the expectation is that this person has strong organizational skills and will manage the following tasks: weekly reporting, monthly/yearly forecasting, quarterly EAC reviews and reporting internal (EACs, Rplan/Financial Planning) and Earned Value implementation (BCRs, monthly LREs).  The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced team environment, work across multiple organizations and levels of leadership, while meeting weekly/monthly/quarterly deadlines as well as helping lead proposal and baselining efforts. This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (remote and/or onsite) and is based on the needs of the business. The Program team resides predominantly in the Eastern U.S. time zone. The preferred candidate will be within a commutable distance to Massachusetts.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Coordinate development of quarterly Estimates at Complete, monthly Budget Change Request (BCRs), and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs)

  • Develop accurate forecasts in support of monthly forecasts / AOP / 5YP processes

  • Lead proposal / baselining efforts

  • Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required

  • Establish and maintain the overall baseline that is compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255

  • Lead quarterly EAC process and monthly FP&A activities

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic

  • Typically requires 5 years professional Finance/Accounting work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years professional Finance/Accounting work experience

  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), and/or Estimate at Completion (EAC) Process

  • Experience with SAP APEX EV, Rplan, BW, PMX, and/or EDIT+ experience; or experience with a similar tool

  • Earned Value Certification or ability to earn within 2 months

  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems
