WHAT TO EXPECT

 

JLR are engineering highly integrated charging and battery management systems for the next generation of electrified vehicles - a rapidly growing area in which in-house software is critical in enabling a world class charging experience for our customers. 

Operating in a Agile environment, this Software Verification Engineering opportunity will get to lead on in-house software verification using the latest hardware in the loop (HiL) and test automation capability and be part of a team that is engineering visionary charging products.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  • Engage, influence and collaborate with a diverse team to validate in-house SW for our charging/discharging products
  • Implement test frameworks to enable the verification of functional and non-functional requirements
  • Lead issue resolution using problem solving tools

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • An understanding of charging technology and/or power electronics (i.e.AC/DC, DC/DC topologies)
  • Experience using HiL Rig, such as dSpace toolsets
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and debugging system failures 
  • A degree in a related subject or equivalent level experience
