Overview:
In this role, the Lead Engineer (Electronic/software Systems) primarily actively participate in NPI, design/redesign and develop and validate software for various Advanced Structures product line.
Position: Lead Engineer (P2)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strong Experience in software development and Design/Verification methodologies for real-time embedded Application
- Well versed with requirement management.
- UML/SysML will be an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong C, C++ and Ada programming skills and well versed with MISRA or equivalent guidelines.
- Modeling and simulation expertise in MATLAB and Simulink.
- Good experience in code generation (Target Link, Embedded Coder, ADI Beacon)
- Hands on experience with standard communication protocols like CAN, SPI, Ethernet
- Knowledge of the certification environment such as DO-330, DO-331, DO 178-B, FAA, EASA and understanding of the impact of the certification environment on development methods and software testing.
- Development of system description documents, certification test plans, common – mode analyses and other documents required for aircraft certification.
- Consistently estimate effort and specify schedules for software development and V&V activities.
- Responsible for on time delivery and quality. Identify flags and handle escalations. Review all deliverables / reports generated by the team and suggest improvements.
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams such as project engineering, software engineering, electrical design, safety, and reliability.
- Broad exposure to a wide variety of application tools and understand the purpose to the software life cycle phases.
- Collect metrics and monitor progress of all activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- BE/Masters in CS/E&C/Electrical with 5 to 8 Years of experience
- Solid communication, writing skills and teaming skills are a must.
