Overview:
In This role, need to do Analysis for product Reliability and safety, being part of a team which delivers cutting edge technologies in the Aerospace & Defense sector.
Position: Lead Engineer (P2) – Reliability & Safety
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be a part of a team which delivers cutting edge technologies in the Aerospace & Defense sector providing significant value to our customers.
- Analysis for product Reliability and safety
- Examine existing systems and investigate problem reports generated by internal and external teams and perform failure analysis
- Be a part of the full Product development life cycle (PDLC) for each assigned project, adhering to company standards and expectations
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Perform R&S analysis on various products LRU and develop following reports
- Participate in product development & testing.
- Find and implement new methodology to enhance R&S analysis and improve accuracy of analysis
- Collaborate with a global team (India, US, UK etc.) and communicate project status updates and challenges to project leads.
- Track, document, and maintain changes log through company provided tools.
- Work with technical leaders to influence the strategy for the next wave of product features and system capabilities, identifying the best way to deliver capabilities.
- Reliability prediction
- Design FMEA, Function FMEA, Piece part FMEA etc.
- System Safety analysis
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong in understanding Engineering drawings & Material Science
- 4-6 years’ experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters with Specialization in Mechanical
- Experience in CAD tools like as CREO, CATIA, UG etc.
- Desire to continue to grow professional capabilities with ongoing training and educational opportunities
