Overview:
In this role, need to engineering and program management by applying Textile engineering knowledge in various manufacturing verticals including development and innovation.
Primary Responsibility:
- A collaborative mindset, willingness to work with/resolve ambiguity, and a “proactive” approach to support manufacturing process.
- Experience in using textile testing methods (ASTM, AATCC, ISO standards, etc.).
- Communication skills for preparing and presenting technical information such as analysis reports, test plan and reports,
- Take technical ownership of projects and work independently to solve problems.
- Experience in testing and characterization of materials and data interpretation (e.g. TGA, DSC, FTIR, DMA, other mechanical test methods).
- Lead by example in the areas of safety improvement and the application of quality measures.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Effectively participates and contributes to engineering and program management by applying Textile engineering knowledge in various manufacturing verticals including development and innovation.
- Chooses and implements analysis and testing techniques of materials and co-ordinates physical testing and evaluation of raw materials and finished goods in order to establish product quality and conformity to specifications.
- Studies on various textile materials, including fibers, yarn and fabrics, to design quality products and determine new production techniques.
- Applies statistical methods to investigates and resolves work-in process and other material problems.
- Demonstrated ability to propose, design, and execute experiments and test plans, ultimately driving them to success against defined performance specifications.
- Develop standard work documents for existing and new processes.
- In process trouble shooting/ problem solving and verification/validation in process factors.
- Write standard procedure by maintaining clear technical information and consistent documentation.
- Apply technical knowledge and hands-on evaluating materials and that solve technical challenges across multiple materials processing techniques.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of material handling/deposition processes and workflows.
- Evaluates new supplier products and materials, to contribute to the establishment of material enhancements and acceptable alternatives to current products.
Qualifications and Skills
- B.E/B. Tech in Textile Engineering and a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- 4 - 6 Years experience.
