The Integrated Solutions Modeling and Architecture (ISMA) directorate is composed of an energetic multi-disciplinary team of over 300 engineers working collaboratively with internal and external customers and programs to provide mission level modeling & simulation of sensing & effects capabilities from seabed to space, multi-level operation analysis, integrated system of system architectures and operations research. We are in the front end of the business pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity to establish next-generation mission solutions from system-level up to campaign-level.
Within the ISMA Directorate, the Air-Power Mission Analysis group performs operations research and analysis to drive system requirements so that Raytheon’s products support the warfare to their fullest extent. We perform complex analysis at the mission level to capture measures of effectiveness that are most important to the warfighter.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Participate in the development and implementation of model-based solutions to support mission trade studies and performance simulations and ensure they meet defined requirements and functions.

Evaluation of end-to-end system needs to discover system interfaces and data connectivity requirements across the kill-chain (e.g., ensuring sensors can “talk to” shooters”)

Implementation of algorithms to provide next-generation performance across the entire system of systems.

You will contribute and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from the program or team experts, and work on diverse projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions.
Basic Qualification:
-
Minimum of five years' experience in Integrated Solutions Modeling and Architecture.
-
Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.

Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.

PhD in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience.
-
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:

Advanced Degree in Operations Research, Aerospace/Electrical Engineering, or related STEM disciplines

Experience with Military Operations Analysis

Experience with Government/Industry Military Warfare Modeling and Simulation tools (e.g. AFSIM, ESAMS, Brawler, JAAM)

Ability to understand tactics as described by military experts and to represent their employment (verbally, graphically, and in simulations)

Experience with Sensors (RADARS, EOIR, etc.), Network Communications, Weapons/Effects (Missiles, Projectiles), Command & Control, and Resource Management

Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with peers and senior technical leaders.

Experience with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 176,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
