Job Summary:
The Apertures and RF Department is seeking an engineering leader based in Dallas, Texas with responsibilities having significant impact, recognition, and growth in the organization. The Apertures and RF department resides within the Electrical Engineering function as part of Raytheon Technologies.
The department is responsible for full-scope antenna product solutions, spanning architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions.
The successful candidate will have domain knowledge of system engineering, design, or test in one or more of the following areas: arrayed antennas, RF Circuits, beam-forming architectures, power and thermal, and beam control firmware / software.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Analysis of test data to develop test improvements
- Troubleshooting of process and test issues
- Root cause and corrective action activities
- Lead process improvement projects in test and manufacturing
- Mentoring
- Support management briefings
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to draft and deliver program briefings.
- Experience in the execution of work products
- RF Test Equipment, MATLAB, DOORS, Model-based Systems Engineering
- Test solution design and execution
