WHAT TO EXPECT

 

As an Inverter Software Project Engineer at JLR, you will be involved in the development, release, and integration of traction inverter software for our advanced electrified powertrains. Your role will be pivotal in defining software design and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software in collaboration with various engineering teams.

 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with traction inverter suppliers to define and execute a comprehensive software design and delivery plan.

  • Take technical ownership of the traction inverter software throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

  • Ensure timely release of traction inverter software in alignment with build and test plans.

  • Work with internal multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure software maturity aligns with project requirements.

  • Adhere to and uphold all relevant Jaguar Land Rover requirements and standards during the software development process

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in electronic unit software design and release within automotive or related industries.

  • Proficient in supporting software and controls functions throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to meet design targets.

  • Experience with software development for inverters handling voltages up to 1000V and power ratings over 150kW.
