WHAT TO EXPECT



Join our Electrical Engineering team as an Integration Engineer. 



As an Integration Engineer, you will represent the vehicle Launch Integration team and support pre-production and production builds. 



You will deliver upon targets set by the Product Engineering division for Electrical Quality to achieve world-class performance levels. The team operate in an exciting and dynamic environment providing the interface between the core engineering teams and manufacturing.

 

Key accountabilities & responsibilities



In this role, you will be one of the key representatives from the department in the vehicle launch environment. Work in partnership with the relevant Programme, Commodity, and Integration Engineers, building a strong and cohesive team. 



Despite being responsible for launch integration support for all commodities delivered by Body, Chassis, Propulsion and SVO, you will report to the Electrical Engineering team.



Further duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



•    Planning and directing the launch Integration team activity at Halewood to support pre-build software validation activity and launch support. 

•    Work closely with Vehicle Engineering to plan and acquire appropriate test vehicles required for pre-build validation activity.

•    Investigate and provide technical support in issues occurring during pre-production builds.

•    Deliver robust countermeasures and ensure issue resolution promptly.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED



Essential:

•    Understanding of manufacturing processes including VCATS.

•    Planning and coordinating pre-build software test and validation including the ability to analyse test results.

•    Proven ability to build and manage multiple internal and external relationships at all levels within the organisation.

•    Knowledge and ability to use JLR diagnostic tools (i.e., Corvus, CANalyser, Snapshot tool) to interrogate and analyse vehicle diagnostic data

•    Experience and understanding of Electrical systems and Architecture including Software (inc. Cybersecurity), Networks, Diagnostics, Hardware & EDS.
