The Role

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business and sales opportunities.  This is accomplished through internal and external channel partnering to generate demand and determine prospect needs.

 

 

What You’ll Do

  •  Primarily focused on growing market-share through new customer acquisition and increase product utilization with existing customer base.
  •  Responsible for all prospect development activities and execute sales tactics to secure new customers.
  •  Outbound, new/ direct sales activities, in a multi-province territory
  • Focused on growing market-share
  •  Focused on growing revenue from our existing clients through new product offerings
  • Work with District Managers on various lead campaigns
  •  Help develop, and then achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Work closely with District Managers on retention 
  • Prospect qualification, advancement and relationship management
  • Work with Marketing to build integrated direct marketing programs that advance current prospects and identify new prospects
  •  Complete pipeline tracking and reporting. 
  • Responsible for all prospect development activities and execute sales tactics to secure new customers.

What You’ll Bring

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in at least two related disciplines (Computer Science, Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education and 2 years of successful inside sales experience.
  • Automotive Industry, Insurance Industry, Education/Training).
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM experience a plus
  • Two or more years of related technical experience, with an understanding of client server & network
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy environments, PC operating systems and hardware platforms.
  • Demonstrable ability to work with Total Customer Satisfaction attitude
  • Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio & Teams in addition to Knowledge of order entry, tracking and reporting systems
  • Reporting daily activities in Salesforce
  • Must be bilingual: English and French
  • Must reside in Canada
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision from a home-based virtual office.
  • Must be organized and process oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, respond and react to a variety of different critical issues simultaneously.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in resolving difficult issues
  • Highly output focused with a drive for consistently overachieving results.
  • An understanding of the Automotive Collision Repair industry a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills in front of customers, prospects, sales meetings, trade shows and executives. Solid prospecting skills and an ability to identify decision makers.
  • Ability to delegate responsibility and commensurate authority to the organization but remain hands on with attention to detail. Excellent analytical skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time within Canada with occasional travel to the U.S.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Affinity for building strong relationships with multiple teams in a matrix environment.
  • Must have excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate complex concepts and recommendations to upper management in a concise, audience-appropriate manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast faced, often changing environment.
  • Must have flexibility and capability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Effective in a team environment.
  • Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate decision and action.
