The site of Smyrna in the United States is focused on Thermal Systems. Our department is looking for a VIE Injection Process Engineer for 18 months, within the team.

Your challenges?

  • You maintain quality standards on all products to ensure manufacturing with zero defect methodology including process documentation required 

  • You will identify lean continuous improvement on cycle time times, change over, scraps, quality, material cost reduction to existing process related to current product lines with regard to the cost, quality, design

  • You will work on plastic part manufacturing according to the specifications in order to meet the requirement of quality, cost and delivery time for the site

  • You will set-up machines for production on mono / bi-injection molding machines as well as robotic programing and operate overhead crane

  • You will provide support on new product launch tooling and process at each milestone through production, providing the manufacturing and engineering inputs for development of new process, parts and tooling

  • You will assist the process design and approval according to the Valeo standards & Procedure.

  • You will define and optimize molding process window, apply auto quality with standard tolerances and also develop and modify robot programs to handle parts without causing damage to the equipment, parts

 Let’s talk about you…

  • You are graduated from a Engineering degree in this field

  • Ideally, you already have experience in this field

  • You have a fluent level of English

  • You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

  • An automotive experience is a plus
