Responsibilities:

Periodically report to leadership regarding automation capabilities and status

Ensure new equipment meets the Valeo’s global equipment specification with regards to controls and robotics

Responsible for maintaining, programing, and troubleshooting injection automation such as end of arm tooling, bowl feeder, and over molding equipment
-
Perform preventative maintenance for injection automation
-
Develop and implement modifications and improvements related to TRP, cycle time, and downtime
-
Assist with the development of training material to train technicians
Requirements and Qualifications
-
Experience in robotics and production automation
-
Degree in mechanical engineering, robotics or related technical field- preferred
-
3+ years of experience in maintenance with end of arm tooling
-
3+ years of experience in programing
-
Basic electrical experience
-
Knowledge of controls equipment and software
