ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) Lead

Job Description:

A vacancy for an ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) Lead has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space, Stevenage or Portsmouth.

We are looking for someone to translate the Support and Services (S&S) Policy into detailed requirements for Design for Support , Material Support, Technical Publications, Maintenance Repair & Overhaul, Technical Assistance, Tools (GSE), Training Support and any other Support System.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: BPSS  

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

  • Define and lead ILS Plan, including V&V approach (development and completion, then continued support capability). 
  • Schedule ILS activities in consistency with Product development plan. Identifies and ensures availability in due time of consistent Input data for ILS deliverables. 
  • Continuously updates and communicates ILS Plan and ILS roadmap (to Programs, S&S, Design, FAL…). 
  • Manage, Coordinate and Synchronize Lead Functions towards achievement of S&S deliverables.
  • Detects and mitigates S&S Risks and Opportunities, manages ILS C@C(Cost at Completion) and EVM (Earn Value Management). Maintain the link between S&S deliverables and Product configuration (ATBM - As To Be Maintained).
  • Prepare and participate as empowered S&S representative to Change Boards. Coordinate S&S Lead Functions contributions to Changes (Scenario, Costing, Forecasting, Planning, Deliverables).
  • Push S&S targets towards Design, Program, GSC (DMC, Serviceability, ILS constraints, PIP-Product improvement plan, MIP- Maintenance Improvement Plan) with Product Managers. 

ABOUT YOU – Your Skills

  • Knowledge and experience of working with ILS standards such as Def-Stan 00-600 or ASD S3000L.
  • Life Cycle Cost (LCC) Assessment.
  • Failure Mode Effects and Task Analysis (FMECA).
  • Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
  • Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), task analysis, life cycle cost analysis.
