We have an exciting remote opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Digital Technology Identity & Access Management team as an IAM Authentication Engineer!
As an IAM Authentication Engineer, you will work closely with business partners and internal IT teams to ensure business requirements are met. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to migrate applications into the Enterprise SSO solution to improve the overall identity and access management posture and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- This position will lead the effort to migrate applications away from the PW legacy systems and onto the core Enterprise provided SSO service.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture application requirements to ensure a smooth migration and seamless move.
- Manages multiple authentication tools and services.
- Responsible for the on-going maintenance, escalation of incidents, and day to day operations of the current authentication tools.
- Serves as a key advisor to the Associate Director of Identity and Access Management and regularly meets with the IAM Team to review and advise on best practices in directory, authentication, federation and single sign-on (SSO) requirements and work programs.
- Participate in UAT for bug fixes and new enhancements related to the Enterprise SSO solution.
- Leads and provides guidance on authentication projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or Information Systems and 5+ years of experience working within DT running and managing authentication services; OR an Advanced Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or Information Systems with 3+ years of experience working within DT running and managing authentication services.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successful application migrations from 1 IDP to another and support of those applications.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge in Identity Management and Authentication services such as Ping, SiteMinder, LDAP, Azure AD.
- Demonstrated ability to read logs, SAML traces, network traffic in order to debug common authentication issues.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and shape relationships with team members, including key technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task and manage demands of many projects, issues, and tasks.
- Working knowledge with common protocols: SAML, OIDC, OIDC, Kerberos.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
