We are a team of HR partners that work closely with business leaders across the Broughton Plant supporting different business and function areas and driving our People Strategy.
We are looking for an Intern who is eager to learn about HR, including HR generalist activities and projects. You will be working with our Broughton HR team, learning about our key people initiatives and working with the business to drive performance and change. There is also the opportunity to work specifically with the Transnational HR Ethics and Compliance team as part of the placement.
For our second role, you will be working within our Broughton HR Business Partner team, learning about our key people initiatives in 2023 onwards and working with the business to drive performance and change. You will be involved in projects as well as assisting with daily HR tasks, ranging from Inclusion and Diversity to Sickness Absence Management.

What you will be doing:
As an HR Intern you will gain vast experience in many aspects of HR, including day to day tasks like:
- Sickness absence management,
- Communication & engagement,
- Recruitment, talent & succession planning;
- Acquire an overview of the whole HR department.
You will get the opportunity to work on projects that secure the future skills and talent for Broughton Plant and ensure we embrace change in a sustainable way.
The opportunity to work with the Airbus HR Ethics and Compliance team would provide an opportunity to contribute to transnational HR projects for improving and maintaining a comprehensive companywide Ethics & Compliance Programme, for example:
- Conducting research;
- Developing concepts;
- Contributing to process and policy definition, and supporting the implementation;
- Developing communication materials.
As the HR Intern you will develop skills in communication, project management, prioritisation of tasks and also knowledge of HR processes and ways of working.
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Studying towards a degree in HR, Business, Psychology or related subjects;
- Knowledge using Google Suite tools;
- Interpret and analyse data;
- The ability to listen, understand and communicate information;
- An eagerness to learn and develop yourself;
- Work well within a team;
- An interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems;
- The ability to organise and manage multiple tasks within strict time constraints;
- Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check).
