Key Responsibilities
- Study product requirements and determine capital equipment and labor staffing to meet requirements.
- Conduct machine capacity analysis and identify/manage improvement initiatives to increase efficiency (OEE).
- Develop methods to increase productivity, maximize efficiency and manage human capital more effectively.
- Recommend capital investment strategy to meet product delivery and cost targets.
- Evaluate the effects of schedule and product design changes.
- Design layouts of equipment and workspace and improving process flow.
- Ability to prioritize many details into a broad view of the total organization.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Ability to work effectively with other engineers, technicians, operators, and management.
- Understanding of capital acquisition process – knowledge or background preferred.
- Strong analytical, creative thinking and project management skills.
- Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Working knowledge of product manufacturing / process technologies.
- Self-starter and able to work with minimal direction.
- Participating in and leading Kaizen events.
Basic Qualifications
- Completed 24 credits towards a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations.
- US citizenship required due to government contracts
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Fluent in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to work full-time from January - August 2023
Preferred Qualifications
- Data mining & manipulation experience with Excel, VBA, SQL, other methods.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
