Aufgaben
We are looking for a candidate with a strong accounting background with the ability to provide effective business support, ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or demonstrated required skill levels (“Qualified by Experience”).
Responsibilities:
• Achieve strong reputation as a business partner
• Oversee the company's accounting and controlling function
• Execute core accounting processes (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger)
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and reporting
• Prepare local cashflow forecasts and statements
• Assist in financial planning and analysis to provide strategic decision support to company leadership
• Prepare monthly and year-end closing, and annual financial statements (according to IFRS and local GAAP)
• Manage our shared service provider
• Develop and maintain financial projection models to forecast short-term and long-term business results
• Promote use of data to drive decisions, and support and enable reporting
• Work with group finance department to develop and optimize processes and internal controls
• Be the contact person for local external auditors and tax authorities
• Accounts payable
• Bank statement reconciliation
• Month end closure
Anforderungen
• Bachelor’s (or above) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
• 8-10 years of work experience (5 as an Accountant)
• Experience working in an international environment
• Knowledge of tax regulations for operative business
• Knowledge of the use of SAP (FI/CO, SD)
• Ability to build strong relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders
• Ability to quickly grasp and solve complex problems
• Ability to prioritize competing projects and initiatives and focus resources in line with priorities
• Effective interpersonal skills vital to effectively manage and influence behaviours
• Fluency in English, German is a plus
