Job Summary:

We are seeking a Hardware Quality Engineer (3rd Shift) position at our Andover, MA location to join Operations Quality at Radio Frequency Components. This role will provide a shift differential of 12% for 3rd shift hours worked. (9:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Role is eligible for 9/80 schedule.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Engage in process walks, operator observations, walk backs, and manufacturing team discussions
  • Support disposition of nonconforming material, root cause investigation, and data analysis to support priority issues
  • Coordinate and monitor audit schedules with support staff to ensure compliance
  • Participate in advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) initiatives (PFMEA, control Plans, SPC, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement

Required Skills:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor of Science in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or other technical field of study, and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant industry experience
  • Manufacturing process experience (assembly, fabrication, inspection, test)
  • Previous experience working directly with production hardware
  • Experience in participating in root cause analysis, root cause corrective Action, implementing corrective and preventative actions
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with data analysis, analyzing raw data and developing relevant visual aids (Pivot Tables, paretos, charts)
  • Experience with FAI (First Article Inspection)
  • Strong familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems
  • Strong familiarity with MIL-STD-883 requirements and semiconductor manufacturing in a cleanroom environment
  • Experience with statistical analysis software such as Minitab or JMP
  • Experience developing and/or analyzing SPC charts, SPC data, Quality Metrics (Scrap, DPU, First Pass Yield),
  • Six Sigma, ASQ Certifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
  • Existing US DoD Secret (or higher) clearance
