Roles & Responsibilities:
1) Manage the Valeo supplier panel from a quality perspective for the Segments (Plastic / Stamping / Casting / Packaging / Assembly);
- Evaluate and validate new suppliers in compliance with Supplier Quality Manual
- Support with Technical Expertise the selection process of the Suppliers to be introduced
2) Support the Valeo Sites, Product Groups (PG) and Regions in case of crisis and cross fertilize knowledge on incidents and problem solving for the segments of the Segments (Plastic / Stamping / Casting / Packaging / Assembly);
- Support with Technical Expertise the Valeo teams in the region (related to Supplier production processes and products);
- Support Valeo Sites, PGs and Regions in the case of a crisis or of a major roadblock with Suppliers
- Collect knowledge gained thru the incident problem solving activity (Lessons Learnt) to define, manage and update the technical checklists used for the validation of processes
- Ensure the cross-fertilization of the technical knowledge among Suppliers of the technologies managed.
3) Drive SQA performance: implement audits and follow dashboards to track quality improvements that must be requested from the supplier panel of the Segments (Plastic / Stamping / Casting / Packaging / Assembly);
- Ensure the cross-fertilization of Lessons Learnt at suppliers in Recover Supplier Quality (RSQ) program
- Management of incidents (with internal / external impact) for the Segments (Plastic / Stamping / Casting / Packaging / Assembly)
- New supplier on the panel: Technical and Quality evaluation validated after visits on the shopfloor.
Qualifications:
Mechanical engineer with experience in automotive industry
Experience in following processes: Plastic injection; metallic stamping; ferrous and non ferrous injection; packaging (cardboard, wooden pallets...)
Quality core tools: process audit, IATF and VDA
Skills:
Fluent in English
Rigor, autonomy, perseverance
Able to act with supplier top management
