WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The role of the communications officer sits within JLR’s global Corporate Affairs and Motorsport chapter which owns the communication strategy for the business, ensuring high quality, integrated and impactful communications to internal and external audiences through JLR’s corporate communication channels.

You will be working with a newly formed Customer Love steering committee in communicating the outcomes and cultural changes we are making as a business as well as providing critical support for the Internal Communications Manager in delivering engaging and transformational content to JLR’s 40,000 colleagues.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Developing, collating and identifying compelling Customer Love stories and features for our communication channels 
  • Supporting the Customer Love steering committee in defining our Customer Love messaging and promoting the ongoing actions and proof points that we are transforming to deliver a customer centric organisation
  • Co-ordinating the Customer Love communications and engagement calendar and project plan, ensuring content is published accurately and at the right time 
  • Assisting large-scale Customer Love experiential events – bringing vehicles, brand and people engagement to our people
  • Create engaging visuals, film and content reflecting our modern luxury vision
  • Supporting the cultural diagnostics agile team in their communications to seek cultural and systemic insights and findings

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • Corporate communications experience – to complex, diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Have the ability to identify good stories from across the business
  • Must be able to produce communications which are relevant and easy-to-digest for all audiences
  • Possess experience of the production and management of content and/or events, including photo/film shoots/briefs/storyboards etc.
  • Able to negotiate and influence across the organisation
