Business Controller Graduate - Bonn

This is a fixed-term contract for 24 months.

Role Overview:

Supporting two branches of NTCE R&D – Bonn/Brussels + involvement in the UK HR activities

Finance part

  • Preparing financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements).
  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing the company's internal controls.

General Affairs part

  • Managing office supplies and equipment (ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies, as well as maintaining office equipment).
  • Maintaining the office environment (organizing and maintaining the office space).
  • Coordinating meetings and events (scheduling meetings, arranging catering, and preparing meeting materials).
  • Handling travel arrangements (booking flights, hotels, and transportation for employees).

Human & Resources

  • Employee Relations activities (including but not limited to Performance Improvement Plans, absence cases, maternity/paternity, flexible working)
  • Supporting with international assignment activities 
  • Supporting employee survey analysis across the business and action plans implementation where necessary
  • Supporting with L&D activities
  • Coordinating and issue all talent acquisition related announcements to business.
  • Supporting all D&I and Engagement activities and strategies on site
  • Supporting CSR, leading site level wellbeing initiatives and managing relevant budget in Genex, benefits management across the business.
  • Coordinating with the Comms teams for all internal HR briefs

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Degree in Human Resources/Management or related subject
  • Ideally some previous work experience in HR or admin function, either on placement, work experience and through volunteering
  • Fluent English AND German
  • Attention to detail
  • Working with honesty and integrity
  • A good communicator
  • Determination to succeed
  • An inquisitive mindset
  • Be able to work autonomously
